This place is legit. Exactly what you want: all natural, affordable, friendly. And there's plenty of other places in the market and nice areas to sit (check out the second floor!).

Being someone who isn't very experimental with the whole juicing scene, I was surprised that I liked this place. I have only gotten the "Face Lift" (too scared for anything else) and I love it. They break down the menu into easy to read sections and I like that they categorize their drinks into beginner, intermediate, and expert because I definitely don't want to be drinking something too strong. They've recently added some new items to their menu which look fantastic. Another great option is to build your own juice which is always a safe bet.

Simply wonderful. The Cocoa Elvis is probably the best smoothie I have ever had. There is a great array of smoothies and juices. The man making the smoothies (the proprietor?) is a very nice young man. When you drink one of his delightful mixtures, you may get an urge to thank him profusely (you may be glowing at the time). Do come here.

While getting something for dinner at the Downtown Market, I quickly picked up one of their to-go juices from their freezer. I hadn't looked at the price when I grabbed it, so imagine my surprise when the total came out to over $8. Even though that's pretty high, I decided to just go with it anyway and shelled out the money. I'm not one of those "juicer" women, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I felt my drink tasted too "green." Now, I think that would be ok if it had kale in it or something, but, supposedly, mine didn't. Just strawberry, apple, beet, carrot, and ginger. So why did it taste like I was drinking a grass smoothie? Maybe it's supposed to be like that? I don't know. But what I do know is that I didn't really enjoy my drink, and I was bummed I paid $8 for it. Sooo, while I like the idea of having a juice bar, I don't know if I'll be stopping in again. ------------------------ UPDATE: I'm giving Malamiah Juice Bar 4 stars after giving them a second chance because of their exceptional customer service. I tried the Rise & Shine, which was delicious and sweet with nothing "grass-y" about it. My best advise for new visitors is to explain what flavors you like and which you are trying to avoid so that you can get the perfect juice to suit your taste!

Super friendly staff and fresh juice! It is quite pricey but I imagine that is typical for any fresh pressed juice bar. I inquired what would be good as I felt like I had a cold coming on and the staff was very helpful. I swear I felt better the next day but perhaps that's just my mind working.... I'll be back!

Stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon to take advantage of their buy one/get one free special, celebrating their successful first 6 months in business. In toast to Malamiah, I ordered a Green Goddess, with parsley, avocado, apple, banana, ginger, coconut milk in it. I already love juicing and smoothies but I have a hard time adding greens to my drinks in ways that actually taste good. Malamiah nailed it with this drink! It was creamy, smooth, with the avocado for density and apple coming through for sweetness. Never once did I taste the parsley or the ginger but I know they were in there, doing their thing. With a great drink like this, they will be successful for many more months to come. Congrats Malamiah on being apart of the downtown market! I can't wait to see what interesting and wholesome libations you come up with in the future!

Love this place! I stop here frequently to get my favorite juice combos like summer greens, spanks and face lift! The staff is always so friendly and super accommodating! I like to mix my own versions and love that they offer an la carte if you know exactly what you are looking for. Never a disappointment and you surely won't break the bank because they start with $5 juices! Give it a try and see what all the buzz is about!

This is the first "juice bar" that my wife and I have ever been too. We were passing by in the downtown market and were immediately intrigued. All of the fresh fruit/vegetables and the smiling faces drew us in right away to try it. We were instantly hooked! The juice tasted so fresh and the workers there were so nice. We have gone back every week (sometimes twice) and tried a whole bunch of different juices and smoothies. It has even inspired us to buy our own juicer and live a much healthier lifestyle! Even though we bought our own juicer we still like to get a juice every week at Malamiah to support the wonderful local business that they have created. My wife wants to do a juice cleanse through them as well. I can't say enough good things about the products they sell, the positive attitudes that they convey, and the good they are doing for the local community. Two thumbs up!
